More details about The Remus Lupins
Bio
That's right. Harry Potter
The Remus Lupins began when Alex Carpenter looked at his bookshelf and held his guitar in his hands. A sudden lightning bolt of creativity jumped into his fingers and he began to play, and to write songs about Harry Potter. Since then, he hasn't been able to shake the habit and keeps writing them.
Apparently, there is a category for this, and its called Wizard Rock, its a sensation that is sweeping the nation. It may soon overtake Rock and Roll and Hip Hop as the main exports of the United States, though that remains to be seen.
This is Wizard Rock for those who can handle it.
The world of Harry Potter isnt always G rated, and neither are the songs.
The unique things about The Remus Lupins is that they dont stick to one point of view for their songs, as some other bands do. For instance, The Ballad of Neville and Luna is sung from Neville's perspective, whereas Remeber Cedric Diggory is vaguely from Harry's. There are even songs sung from the outside perspective. In the future? Look out for songs from everyone from Oliver Wood's to Ron's to perhaps even Hermione's. Its an adventure. See if you can determine which songs are sung by which characters, and which are just Alex's ideas about the series.
Keep listening.
Watch out though: There are SPOILERS in the songs. For instance, I talk about how in Book Six, Ron decides to leave Hogwarts and join the circus.
Oh oops I gave it away.
